1. What this is

Jean-Fa-Jean is software. You connect your own exchange account with an API key, choose your own settings, and the software places orders on your account according to those settings. We do not hold, receive or control your funds, and we cannot withdraw them. Every setting is your own choice. Jean-Fa-Jean is not a regulated financial service and is not supervised by a financial authority.

2. No advice

Nothing on this site or in the software is investment, tax or legal advice, an offer, or a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Backtests and demo results show what a setting would have done in the past. They are not a prediction and not a promise.

3. Your responsibility

You decide the budget, the number of positions and every optional setting, and you are responsible for the orders that result. Only use money you can afford to lose. Crypto prices can fall sharply, and you can lose part or all of what you put in. Live trading uses real money. Paper trading uses none. You are responsible for your own taxes on trading results.

4. API keys

Give the key trading rights only. Do not enable withdrawal rights, and where your exchange allows it, restrict the key to our server address. Keys are stored encrypted, and you can delete them yourself on the Live tab at any time.

5. Availability

The service can be interrupted, delayed or wrong: exchange outages, data gaps, software errors and connection problems can lead to orders that are late, missing or different from what you expected. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation and we do not guarantee any result.

6. Plans and payment

Plans are billed monthly or yearly (your choice) through Stripe and renew until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and the plan then runs until the end of the paid period. Refund: ask within 14 days of a payment through the contact form and we refund that payment. Payment provider fees may not be returned. Plan limits (budget per plan for live trading) are shown on the pricing page.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for trading losses, missed profits or indirect damage arising from the use of the software. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Changes and ending

We can change the software and these terms, and we can change or stop the service, for example if rules or circumstances require it. If you disagree with a change, stop using the service. We may suspend an account that abuses the service. You can stop at any time by removing your API keys and cancelling your plan.
